bikeperson45
I noticed my back wheel was becoming a little loose so quickly tightened it back up, and ever since I've lost the tension. When I pedal backwards the chain goes with it and get dragged to the chainstay protector. When I forst had the hub fitted the guy at the shop said it would take awhile for it to be able to pedal backwards but should it be doing this? Thanks

bikeperson45
Ok, looked at it again and when the bolts of the hub are done up tight that's when it loses tension, when they're loose it'f fine.Any suggestions? bikeperson45
Anyone ahve any idea? I'm using a derailleur as a tensioniser. Thanks
hI-OOPS-CAPS
if you have fun bolts, tighten them up equally. if you notice when you tighten one up more, the wheel will be pulled more that way. this might have small effect on the rear gear
bikeperson45
Thanks for help By tightening them in moved the derailleur over slightly, so had to bend it back a bit.All is well now thanks again
