Rusty190
I ordered a Zoo! Pitbull 07 frame, short (1060mm) some weeks ago. (My wish is a shorter frame than my GU LE 26" which is 1080mm) I built the Zoo! up today, and after measuring from rear hub to front hub, the distance is 1080mm.The strange thing is that the Zoo! Pitbull 07 only exists in two versions, 1060mm and 1090mm... Or is there a third version out there? Have I received the correct frame? Ciguena_dreamer
It will be your forks that are making the extra lenght, if you look on tarty's you will see it says measured with Echo etc forks. Your forks might be diffrent geo making the bike longer.
Rusty190
I´ve got Echo Urban forks. Same forks as I had on the GU LE.
ogre
do lots of hooks? it will bend your forks outward.
Muel
Your forks could have bent, but it just sounds to me that you've been sent the long version instead of the short.
Rusty190
Im not doing much hooks. They fork is intact. If the length of 1080mm is correct on the GU LE, it should be correct on the Zoo?
pogo
I bought an 07 control short which was meant to be 1060 but with my forks was only 1045.
Ash-Kennard
could not be an 07?
Rusty190
Yep it´s the 07 frame. Does anybody know exactly what Echo fork the deng bikes are measured with?
Ben John-Hynes
Are you measuring from/to the centre of each axle? Did you measure the WB of the GU before you de-built it? Or are you just going by what's stated on the internet?
Greetings
If you want to find out if your frame is a short or long, check the bb to headset measurement and confront it with Tarty's website. But yeah, it sounds strange.
