Mark W
I don't think having it bigger than last time would be a great idea, in that the last one was fairly scattered as it was, and caused enough issues with spots getting shut down and so on? Skoze
I really don't see why you're keeping it so secretive Luke? If Jack wanted to organise another ride, surely he'd just come out with it and make a topic himself? Doesn't seem overly keen on it to me...To be perfectly honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the last one, it's just too many people for a good ride. As Mark said, spots got closed down, we were moved on from everywhere far too quickly, the bbc in particular refused to cover it because it's an illegal activity (so threw out the "yeah media coverage, YEAH" aspect) there was next to no riding for the majority, just the good riders going big and crowds of people surrounding what we usually ride. I enjoyed it purely because of a group of 10 or so people I was with that day/ weekend (saturday's festivities made the weekend for me).Maybe it's just me being old fashioned about rides... I'll be there either way, some good friends'll probably be there and it's only an hour away on the train
Captain Scarlet
Plan what your going to do first, don't just say "Oh some random guy who I'm not telling his name is thinking about doing a London ride".What is wrong with planning a date in the near future, with plenty of time and notice to get everyone out.As cool as London is to ride (just as a landmark and the amount of people rather than spots) I vote somewhere else that might actually be ridable in a larger number.I doubt it would be bigger than the last one, Jack Meek worked his arse off getting some of the big names last time. Sponge
When a group ride gets so big that it gets split into small cliques, it's not so great.Ideally, would be a large enough group that could still keep together.

Simpson
True that brother, I ride best with 4 or so tight mates, but big rides are good for a social meet.

JackMeek
Guys. It's meek here. Sorry about the delay. I have had. Nose operation and been away from the forum for week. Me and luke where having a Instant chat over facebook and I said to just test the water with topic to see interests. I am going to do another worlds biggest street trial. If people don't like quantity then is not for you. It is a one event where the whole comunnity of bike trial can attend for free, see friends, meet and watch pro's, younger riders to have an amazing experience etc. dates are not confirmed but it will be between march and july. I have to think what is best for everybody and look outFor foriegn riders. I spoke to Ot Pi, dani comas and Cesar Canas and they were so gutted they did not come. Rik koekoek said he missed last one but not the next. Let me clear up the BBC issue. It was not that what we did was ilegal because it was not. It was due to director back the studio wanted Tony Hart deathCelbration covers and they thought itMore important. I will make an official topic soon. Thanks guys.MeekPs. Luke well you did get some stick over but hopfully no more probe for you mate.

Mark W
If London couldn't handle that amount of riders and he's after more, I doubt going elsewhere would work.

Mark W
They can handle us for a day or two. Bearing in mind it didn't really work out all that great last time in terms of everyone riding together, spots being rideable, etc. - that was what I was refering to with 'handling it'. Skoze
Totally agree with Mark on that, was wayyy too crowded and split up. They got seriously hot on the security side of things, and because of the way we were split up, one group would get chucked off a spot and another would go there, getting progressively worse receptions from the people/ "authorities"/ SOUTHBANK RANGERS/ tickle tickle crew etc who were there. bigamac
Both true, but at the end of the day. Did you enjoy the day?For a once a year thing I thought it was amazing.I found the atmosphere with so many people and all the security guards was fun, any one else with me?Although little riding was done, of what bits I done, I enjoyed. Was also very good to see some pro's out riding in person, I think I learned a few tips just by watching other people riding. Did you enjoy the day?For a once a year thing I thought it was amazing.I found the atmosphere with so many people and all the security guards was fun, any one else with me?I did enjoy it, yeah, purely because I had a tight group of mates with me and I know my way around London. For a newcomer, however I think it'd actually be a really daunting prospect when you actually got there. Hundreds of people you don't know, in a city you don't know, who then split up and go in all manner of directions leaving you pretty confused about where to go and who with.
