JT!
But what I'm saying is that there are (around) 20,000 of the true rare 20p coins out there. You're off by 10 fold. There's a fifth of a million of them.
monkeyseemonkeydo
I was refering to people buying the genuine ones, not the 'tards buying 'normal' ones...But you quoted me when I was also referring to the 'tards buying 'normal' ones... You're off by 10 fold. There's a fifth of a million of them.Ah fair enough, I must've misread that on a site somewhere.
Mark W
However, some of them are already going to have been returned directly to the Mint, some of them are going to have been sold to other people already, some of them are just going to be in circulation still with no-one checking if they're dated or not (I wouldn't have bothered 'til I saw this) and so on - meaning that there might be hardly any left actually around. The amount that's officially in circulation varies from between 50,000 -> 200,000 anyway, so it seems like no-one knows for sure.

Adam-Griffin
Somes guys just asked me to end the auction now and he will give me £100 for it. 34 watchers at the moment with 4 hours leftMy Grandad put one on there and it went for £265 Last night so £100's a bit of a low offer really. Rich J
I realise im only a kid and people now a days want money now but if you left it a year wouldn't you get a lot more becuase they will stop making them but if you do this make sure it stays in perfect condition.I think you probably would get more but I guess it'll depend on who needs one by then. The collectors will probably be looking for one now so there would need to be a few still wanting one at the time you put one up, which is still likely. Si, £1000!? 20ps have certainly got a silly value at times.
