Bike Mistake.

Recommended Posts

Ok. So I’ve just bought my new trials bike (onza t-pro) for £225 after buying the buy I realised it had v-brakes and not hydraulics. (yes I know a little embarrassing... bad picture.)

Are they okay to work with?

How do they feel on a trials bike doing jumps and things?

Do hydraulics make that much difference?

And if they do can I pick up a good second hand one or two for about £50-£100?

Thanks. Laurence

by the way, nice use of words.... genius :|

Edit: and i might just be being dumb here... but whats the difference between pro and t-pro and if someone could tell me the weight of the t-pro too ?

Ignore him, he's mildly retarded.

Your Jack Chinnery!

Thank you captain obvious! :P

In response to the original question, vee brakes are fine, infact they hold better than maguras but lack alittle of the bite; more than good enough with some decent pads, a well maintained cable and a decent setup. Im using heatsink coust vee pads on the front with a superlight grind and it works like a disk, doesnt bite that hard but modulates quite well :)
