Simon2009
Is there a big difference in spec between the 08 and 09 Onza Pro's?I know the 09 model has mechanical disc brakes but is there any other difference/Improvement?Are the disc brakes better than the trusty V's?Basically, I can get a new 08 for 340 or a new 09 for 400 quid. What's best to go for? Simon2009
Are they that bad in standard trim?My reason for buying new is more due to the fact I am after a bike fairly quickly so I can enjoy my summer evenings learning the basics and I'm also intending to stick it on the credit card whilst it's interest free for the next 6 months. I just wanted to get the best bike I can for around the 400 mark.

So better off saving the 50 quid on the 09, getting the 08 with the Vee's already on there and just updating them with some better ones.
