Otacon
Hey guys, just took my Echo external BB out my frame to service it, re-greased it all up etc, went for put it back in, now one of the cups slides onto to the axle as normal, however the other will only go on about half way if that then goes MEGA stiff, won't budge any further....Just wondering if you lot know what the problem is and how i can fix it ? mr ailsbury
Didn't this happen when we first put it together? pretty sure it was bare force that did the trick.
bigamac
Try re-cleaning the threads?I know it's silly but it might be that.

Danny@phatworks
I had the same problem.... I put it down to the axle being slightly bent.. Might not be but that's the only explanation I could think of.
gage-mann
put your crank arm on and tighten it up till it pushed the cup right on the axle? then screw that cup with axle in frame(after taking crank off) and screw other side in last? or will that not work? cai
Which ever side your having trouble fitting (left/right hand side?) install this side first. And then fit the other side which went on easily for you before.
