Pretty nice bike there mate! You know why everybody will have this bike....This frame is quite light and the price is very low!I paid mine less than 200£But i assume that cheap and light can't last.....i don't think it's a strong frame. Deng is known for making good strong frames so they might be alright.
laurent
Yeah, strength might be sacrificed, but we'll have to see. Deng is known for making good strong frames so they might be alright. And if i crack the frame i just have to buy another one.The price is so low that it's possible to buy 3 zoo piranha for the price of a koxx, ozonys or so...So even if it will not last it will not be a disappointment. And for the price the frame is quite nice to ride. max-t
It's lighter because there is hardly and blocks of cnc. I doubt he is using really thin tubing.
laurent
It's lighter because there is hardly and blocks of cnc. I doubt he is using really thin tubing.I don't think either that the tubing is too thin. But the tubing is no as oversized as it's on my 07 echo pure frame for example.Maybe it's wrong, but i juste have the feeling that the frame is not so strong. Moreover the low weight is also due to the fact that there is no extra "parts" on this frame: not any cable routing, and the "brake bosster" is very very small. That's why this frame needs an extra brake bosster.
toyota200x
What gear ratio are you running? I love these frames but don't know if I can get a good chain length with 383 cs. I run 22-18 or 22-19.
