Hi everyone

I need some new toothed snail cams but was wondering

which ones are the best to go with.

Thanks Kieran.

Hey mate, what frame do you have. If your snail cams do not reach for any reason, I have heard the ZHI snail cams are one of the largest. :D

I have an Onza T-Mag 06 i drilled and threaded the holes for snail cams my self so getting bigger ones is not the problem

My main problem is my wheel keeps slipping an the chain goes really slack and its impossible to do trials like that

and i have Echo smooth snail cams so i need toothed ones as Ive heard they are alot more stable and better at keeping

the back wheel in place.

I got some ZHI snail cams and they are massive but there also smooth not toothed :( so thats why i wanted to know what

toothed snail cams are the best to get

Kieran.

I've had Monty cams, Zhi cams, Trialtech cams and now Echo TR cams which I ahve to say are the best! They are micro-notched, made of steel and have moce more adjustability that other teethed cams.

Thanks i will try the Echo TR cams then were did you get yours from and how much are they?

and there not like the small black Ecko snail cams (smooth) are they?

Thanks Kieran.

My Monty ones have been great and they wont break the bank either.

lol mine were far from that to say the least, i would literally back hop and my back wheel would move, got trial tech and its a fit and foget with me. i think ive touched them like 3 times since about dec. and thats for chain stretching etc.

Thanks for the advise ive just ha a look at the Echo TR cams and the teeth are tiny and

they look nearly smooth so how do they work better than normal toothed cams?

You'll be surprised, the are indeed small but you can still feel the notches up against the cam bolt, mine has not failed me at all so far. They haven't shown any signs of being squashed either, all my other aluminium cams eventually got crushed.

don't save weight on these small little cams, the mistake i made.. really not worth it, i've squashed so many of them... its such a waste of money now I'm skint and i just want some of them echo ones so they don't squash. get them.

steve

I'm not looking to save weight

I just want some cams the actually keep my wheel firm and in place instead

of slipping all the bloody time.

You cant even back hop once without the wheel slipping and I'm so fed up with it

Thanks Kieran.
