orange*zero Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 the hope minis are quite good,great bite and hold leaver feels realy nice to and u can pimp them to mach your bike if you wish. get one ov them and you wont be disapointed alltho avid bb7 cable brakes are great if you get a good cable and a decent leaver sumthing like a shimano xtr i have a bb7 with a xtr leaver and its great it got good bite great hold and just asmuch power than a hope if not more. hope i have helped thanks ben Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ogre Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 BB7 caliper, SD7 lever, shimano cable. if you run a good cable line, and take the time to set the brake up it'll feel awesome i've riden dual bb7s for over a year, new cables every 6 months for safety's sake. can't fault them i'd avoid a hope personally, unless you buy new. or get very lucky in the 2nd hand market...
