SkiLLz
Ok so i'm starting to get fed up of this! I've made sure there's no crap on my disk, changed my pads and bled the brake but i'm still not getting the bite i want out of this brake. When I gap to front ect. the front gap is so crap it just doesn't hold at all! Anyone got advice for me? I'm getting a new frame on Sunday and I want to be sure that everything it working perfect. N.Wood
Either:Make sure its fully bedded in, will take a while. The brake isn't powerful enough full stop... Get a new brake or bigger rotor.Learn to get over the front more on gaps so you help the brake out as muh as possible.

PaRtZ
In a word, noin 2 words, hell nodisc brake pads are (usually) sintered and quite hard meaning they wont deform as much under pressure. When HS33 pads are used the polyeurathene (or whatever polymer it is) distorts a hell of a lot more and thus can get into the slices and grooves of a rim made by the grinder. Scott Gibbs
Have you tried upgrading the size of your rotor. Maybe go from 160mm which most mod riders use, (im assuming thats what your using.) maybe go up to 180mm give you some more leverage. SkiLLz
Well today I got my new frame so obviously I've rebuilt everything and the disk brake is working perfect. I'm not sure why, maybe it's just because the front end is alot lower than my Triad was so I'm getting over the front end more. Thanks for the help anyway.
