Mat Smith!!
How about these ? Yeah I've got them, you can really notice the difference in weight compared to other pedals, well worth the money imo  .

Muel
If you snapped a trialtech, you need to stop going to pedal so hard! I've had mine 6 months and not even knocked a pin out.If you want strength and weight doesn't bother you, I'd get DMR V8s, I had a set once, they're incredibly strong. Dan6061
I have some Primo Stricker magnesiums, unsealed. Light enough, very grippy and strong! Missing one pin in total.

Sean___John
Ive got a set of Tioga surefoot MX pros and I would recommend them to any one. They are the grippiest pedals Ive ever used! And they are only around 100g heavier than the trialtechs you've got now Link!!The only difference between mine and the ones pictured in the link is that Ive filled all the pin holes, so they look rather lethal. sayshell
i just snaped my trial-tech magnesium pedalso i need a new pairwant something strong but also light To be honest trialtech sport pedals suck really badly I broke mine doing a flatland bunny hop and I only weigh 150 lbs. I have also broken a set of magnesium wellgos. The truth is you can't have a pedal under 400 grams that is strong enough for riders who go at it all day long. The inspired looks like a good choice upgrade, the ones I bought are the macniel face pedals (in the links below)Had them 5 or 6 months not a single problem with them. Basically just make sure what you buy is aluminum, magnesium is too weak for anything plastic is actually much stronger than magnesium. If you are not too concerned about grip than you could also buy plastic pedals, they are lighter than aluminum and almost as strong. Here are some good plastic pedals416 grams http://www.danscomp.com/465074.php?cat=PARTS400 grams http://www.danscomp.com/465237.php?cat=PARTS 374 grams http://www.danscomp.com/465091.php?cat=PARTSHere are some good aluminum ones471 grams http://www.danscomp.com/465255.php?cat=PARTS439 grams http://www.danscomp.com/465076.php?cat=PARTS Edited June 20, 2009 by sayshell

sayshell
I'm rolling on Wellgo ti-mags and I 'go at it all day long', and yet they're still in once piece after 6 months.really? lucky I broke mine after about 4. I was going about 1kmph and jumped off the side of my bike dropping the bike from 0feet high and when the pedal hit the ground it broke. The wellgos are slightly stronger than the trialtech though. N.Wood
They're the same thing I think they might be fairly brittle, so riding along and dropping your bike on the floor probably isn't the best idea.

What about when you ride a skinny and fall off one end? You must let go of your bike sometimes.
N.Wood
Yeah sure I have not very often I have to say, but yeah it does happen. I wouldn't say its a force they're designed to take though.
craigjames
I've got some Wellgo MG-1's that ive had for over a year now, battered them to bits, no pins on one side, 90% of the grey paint has gone and they are still running smooth and solid. Nothing wrong with them at all.
