Sam Jones
I have decided to enter into this race (hell down south one) and was wondering if anyone else was going to enter in it aswell. Im aiming for a time of 2 and a half hours. Im going to be choosing a charity aswell and getting sponsors obviously. also what costume should i wear. nothing to big and heavy as it will take on a lot of water.Samhttp://www.hellrunner.co.uk/helldownsouth.htm Edited June 18, 2009 by Sam Jones
mr_malcolm
I think me and 2 of the guys from work might be entering, aiming for 2 hours or as near as possible.
JD™
I'm definitely thinking about it, but not sure at the moment. I'm confused as to how you can be predicting times though... They don't even know the course length yet, let alone how hilly it will be. For instance if it's 10 miles flat then I'd get it done in just over an hour, but if it's a b*****d hilly 12 miles then I might be looking more at 2 and a half. Impossible to tell. adamtrials
Oh my god, Longmoor... That's where most of my Marine training was done. I f**king hate that place!!! There are some very steep slopes (That we were made to run up, and down, and up, and down, etc...) but on the whole it's not tooo bad, no actual big hills as far as I can remember.I'll have a think about it, it sounds like fun, kinda. If it's where you did a lot of training then you'll probably piss all over without the burgens and other kit you'd have been carrying. Plus I'd be much more inclined to do it to see how I'd fare up in comparison

I'm pretty sure you would be able to beat me though, I am pretty bad at self motivation on longish runs, and afterall I was only a 'Bandie' as we were constantly told by the instructors
Sam Jones
you can enter in as a team so shall we se if we could enter in as representatives of the Trials-forum. But it does mean we would need to dress up in costumes to a theme though. thats if you fancy it?!
