Psi

Hey mate, I would say pump both tyres up to 30 PSI and start from there.

Ride it how you normally would and then just keep letting air out slowly until it feels right for you.

Hope this helps

Whatever's comfortable.

What PSI Should You Run Your MOD At?

What Would Be The Best?

Thanks

Jason

Put about 35 Psi in both then let a bit out till it feels right that's best for you to do.

I ride with 30 - 35 it front and 35 - 40 in the back that works for me.

In my opninion, it is good to ride the tyres very hard as a beginner. You'll get more sensitive about the tyre's behaviour.

But to reach the best performance, it is recommended to work with different pressures. e.g. Rick Koekoek is called to justify his tyre pressure for each section.

I don't know very much about this, but I think you have to consider these different cases:

-Surface (you won't get a flat tyre on paletts as fast as on concrete objects)

-Pitch (so that this won't happen: 48ea08d6e5db3-sanmartindevadeiglesisas.j)

It'd be better to control the pressure with a pressure gauge as to do it by feeling. But I'm not doing it this way at the moment, later on perhaps but I don't have the right tools therefore and also not enough motivation :-)

I run around 17psi now I think. I'm known to run next to nothing though...

I like my tyres soft, but still rollable. So I can still manuel and roll about, but it still wraps around the edges of stuff. :)

Would you be able to tell the difference between 17.5 and 17 if someone where to let a tiny bit of air out when you werent looking?

I wouldnt know for sure but its possible i suppose. Plus i dont leave my bike anywhere for it to happen! Lol

Just have always used it at that pressure, check it before each ride.

On 26 now though.

i dont weigh a whole lot so i run about 25 PSI front and rear, i like it to be a bit bouncy. i usually just run what ever feels good at the moment, i never mess with pressure gauges when filling the tire, only if im curious. :P if its a sandy area maybe down to 15PSI and if its sharp rocks and tall drops maybe up to 35PSI.

youll be able to tell whats best for you once you start playing with it, youll definably be able to tell if your running too low. ;)
