Greetings
Got a big problem with matching the stem geometry for a bike I need to build up.It's an Inspired Fourplay, going to have Trialtech Riser bars and Pitbull forks. It's intended use is street and trials. The main use is probably going to be trials though.Got the following to choose from (apart from mod stems and long stock stems):105 x 5115 x 10120 x 17125 x 20130 x 15Please could only Fourplay users give their opinions. Could you also not suggest different bars or stem geometry. Just pick one out of the list.1-1,5cm of spacers under the stem is also an option. Simpson
90-12 degrees is what I've got, perfect for the riding that should be done on inspireds, I brought the stem because Dave Marshal advised on 90-15 and he was right, its amazing. Greetings
Do you not find 90mm a bit short for normal trials use?
Luke Rainbird
I'm on 90*10 with 10mm spacers and Monty bars (so pretty similar feel to the Trialtechs) and it's a tad low. I dodn't find it restrictive in any 'trialsy' situations really, though I'm not a great rider so meh! I'm looking to stick another inch or so on the front end, so have also got a 90*15 and 2" riser that puts things at the right height, just doesn't have the upsweep I'm used to. I don't think I'd want anything longer than 110mm personally.A lot of people do run Trialtech bar/stem combos though and seem to get on ok with them. I think Tarty tend to stick that kind of kit on most of their Inspired builds.
