joshlyd1
Ok is ther any help pleaseFreewheel on a FFW trialtech forged crank Edited June 12, 2009 by joshlyd1
Muel
It uses a BB tool, so bolt the tool securely into the crank arm, put the tool in a vice, put a big tube over the crank arm and turn it anti-clockwise as you look down at it.EDIT: Forgot, I made a WIKI on it. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/How_To_...Front_Freewheel Edited June 12, 2009 by Muel

joshlyd1
Yeh i have just looked on tarty and it says there is a freewheel remover but none of the products i have looked at say that they are compatible with tensile products Edited June 12, 2009 by joshlyd1
N.Wood
Thats because it ususes an ISIS splined bottom bracket tool not a standard freewheel remover.

trials ryan
Just pop in to LBS and then just ask them nicely then they'll take it off mabey?
r2wtrials
Just to try and clear it up a bit... the bottom bracket and the crank arm fitting are not related to the freewheel design we are talking about. The tensile freewheel has a ribbed/splined bit if you look from the back and this is the same as a standard bottom bracket removal tool. Use a BB tool to remove it but make sure you have a big strong vice attached to a big heavy bench!!! ... but by the sounds of it i would take it to local shop and ask them to remove it for you... MikeWarner
My tensile needs a Shimano Hypergride lookring removal tool. Yours is probably the same, Halford should stock it. You will also need a big bench vice and big arms.
Muel
It's a BB tool, not a lockring tool, they look vaguely similar though.
