Mr Motivator
Pull out the driveshell and axle first, then get a good quality long thin punch and drift out the bearing on the drive side tapping at 12 o'clock, 6, 3 and 9 until it comes out. Then you'll be able to get to the spring.Don't stretch it too much or it'll mis-shape.Put the spring and ring back in and tap the bearing back home square with an apropriate sized socket.Re-assemble the rest of the hub. Done.

Otacon
+1I saw a guy on the DJ ride that had a green bike with a blue Chris King.He had stretched out the spring as much as possible and yeah, it was loud as f**k,But everyone knew it weren't gonna last long!To be fair, He's had that hub aslong as i've known him, gotta be 2 and abit years now and its always sounded like that. Never had a problem as far as i'm aware.Neil Tunni has had his like that for about 5 years and his f**ked up on him, only because the inside of it got dirty, he cleaned it out and it was as good as ever.On this note, pro II for the win
Mat Smith!!
Like I said in that other topic, I've had 2 and stretched both springs, never had a problem, I had them both about a year each.Aslong as you keep them clean they'll be as good as new.
