Scott Gibbs
Yeah i have had a look at all the options on their website ie headtube lenghth, bb style, dropouts ect. But i was more refering to what extras he could do like could for example have the inspired geo but have it look like a monty kamel with a seat? Not that that is what i want but u get my drift? pietro
Does anyone know if you have to pay Cutoms taxes for a Marino frame since it is a non EU product? If so how much will the tax be? Has anyone had to pay tax on their marino frame?

I had a look through the photos and im more than impressed! It has made my choice all the more easier and saved me probably £100+ im going to order a marino with inspired geo with disc mount and horizontal dropouts with one of two styling tweeks and a set of his straight blade forks. I have to admit i wasnt expecting that much variety in his frames but i was wrong. I think ill order one this weekend.

chrispy61
Mite aswell get Inspired Geo instead of waiting for the actual Inspired frames!! What are the best options to have? Bottom bracket type? Integrated Headset? Hollow? What drop outs are best? What spacing would you have for brake mounts and drop outs?Im deffo thinking this is the way to go, sick of waiting for the Ashton, and for the price these frames are win win Its has to be the Inspired Geo with horizontal dropouts in Black with 2.5" tyre clearence?? Will there be pretty standard parts to fit these frames? What forks will they take?
LEON
You might aswell go for the biggest tyre clearance poss, not sure how it'd affect a 24" but on my 26" I could run 8 gears on a 118mm bb and the chain was nowhere near the tyre & chainline was fine. Plus the rear end was not exactly inch perfect so it's a good thing i had the huge clearance.Leon Edited June 16, 2009 by LEON
Scott Gibbs
With diamondback yet to release the effect inspired being sold out and heatsink being sold out too this is playing into marino's hands as riders can have the 24 they want and at a fraction of the cost. And likewise stock riders who want a streety 26 but dont want a czar freetrials this is perfect And further more they can specify what geo they want as i know this caused great conflict in the streety 26" thread. So marino will only get more and more custom! With diamondback yet to release the effect inspired being sold out and heatsink being sold out too this is playing into marino's hands as riders can have the 24 they want and at a fraction of the cost. Luke Rainbird
I think you may well be able to pay via PayPal if you'd like it to stay easy and secure. If not all those "Cash Converters" style places tend to do Western UnionAll this talk/pictures is making me have naughty thoughts about new frames again! matheprat
You can pay with Paypal through Xoom. The (Xoom) fees add about a tenner onto the total cost.

Thats easy enuff right?Setting up a paypal account is easy, just fill in the form online. You'll need a credit card and transaction sizes are limited until you verify the card (They charge your card about 2 squid, you type the number that appears beside this transaction on your bank statement and that proves to them that you're the genuine owner of the card and refund you the 2 squid).
