Will Arnold Posted June 7, 2009 Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 depends on which parts the rust is on exactly.on a steerer, you could wire brush it off, then laquer it to keep the rust away.on headset mating surfaces i'd reccomend putting them in vinegar for a few days or using some off the shelf rust remover on them. Just the kinda thing I need to return my bike to its glorious shine.It still turns heads though, can't get on a train without a comment being made I'll get pics up the second her retro-fit is over.
