Luke Williams!
So i finally fitted my trialtech cranks after f**king the first ones up by using the wrong bash (my bad) but i bought a set with the trialtech bash half ring set up! and an 18 tooth screw on front ring!i made sure it covered the necessary amount of thread as to not f**k them up this time as another 70 quid is a waste of moneyanyway i've just been out and done about half hours worth of sidehops then got bored so decided to try a few gaps about a bike and a halfs length.after the third one i kicked and f**king flew over my bars i thought it was the hope pro 2 (which is brand new but started to pedal and the cranks have threaded were the front ring isanybody else had this issue with them?Peace Luke
Al_Fel
Sorry to say this mate but if this is the second time you've done it it sounds to me like you are doing something wrong. How easily did the sprocket screw on?Are the threads totally gone does the cog spin freely? Sounds simple but it might be alright it might have just tightened up when you kicked hard? basher
sounds like you will be able to claim on a manufacturing warrenty, assuming you bought these cranks new? did the cog screw on with easy or was it stiff? edit: i ran some trialtech cranks and they where fine i think you just got a pair with a fault on them, or your doing something wrong Edited June 6, 2009 by basher

Jack Morton
Are you sure it's you're crank's which are threaded or is it possiably the 18t screw on thing.
