Otacon
So, just had a thought, i know we have magura and disc, vee and disc, disc only and magura only forks avaliable. Which got me thinking, why havn't vee and magura forks been made ? Fo example, 4 bolt magura mounts on the rear of the forks and the vee mounts on the front of the forks.Just thought it would b a good idea....Discuss... Echo-Scott
This idea would be a massive failure for Echo then. There forks like to crack with Magura mounts alone. The added vee mounts probably wont do the strength any favours.Basically though, Buy either Mag or Vee forks and if you wish to use an alternative rim break then just get adaptors I guess. gussie
That's a good point because on the 24uk frames they have all three(yes thats the frame not the forks) but surely it would work on the front. But i'm pretty sure a clever person will come and explain what stresses are involved and things like that and, therefore, explain why it hasn't been done already. But i would like to know, as it would, i suppose, be very useful for some.
eskimo
They'd sell less that way. Plus most people wouldn't want everything on their fork. There's also the weight & cost to take into account.
