MAX (M.A.D)
Hiya, welcome to the forum, read through the guidelines and follow them and you should be validated soon.If your thinking of buying the Onza T-vee, when you get the hang of trials you might want to upgrade the rear break to a magura HS33 and maybe a hope disk break for the front. If it was me I would upgrade the rear hub as they are pretty simple and tend to skip.If you quite like the Onza's if you have the money you could spent out a little more and get one of the newer models. This is the new Onza range.http://tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?categor...amp;brand_id=68Hope this helped, Max. Earl
Ooh well now you come to mention it i was looking at wheels and brakes i thought they would be the best option then later on get pedals and tyres. Thanks MarcusLike Max says get some magura's, pedal wise i like dmr V8's iv used them for years and tyres maxxis creepy crawlers i got my first set of them 4 months ago and I'm very happy with them so far. Also you will need some tar to put on your rear rim at some time because as you start to push harder and get better it helps, with braking and keeping it on the back wheel.Hope i have helped.Earl
Guest
Sorry, i beleive you can only get hs11's on a t'vee its quite a popular option and hold well especially for a person new to trials.
Marcus Brown
Im looking to buy some maguras front and back with tar ,then i love the look of maxis creepy crawler so ill get some of them unsure when but eventually ,but im unsure about dmr v8 i was thinking try all caged aluminium because i wear shin pads so i wont get holes in my shins. Guest
v8's are super grippy, and t vees have 20" wheels front and back so you are unable ot have a rear creepy crawler (rear creepy crawlers are 19"). Marcus Brown
Ooh ok nick i understand that shouldnt be to hard to over come thanks you for letting me know and save a LOT of hassle.
Ash-Kennard
i wouldnt get a t-vee if i were you, the rear rim is 20" rather than the std 19" mod rear wheel, so you can hardly upgrade the rear wheel, or the frame, without buying both
trials ryan
Hey welcome to the fourm.Best thing to upgrade on the onza t-vee is the bars and stem, they weigh a tonne.
Earl
Try getting two front creepy crawlers then mine works good I'm practicing the switch and front hops it grips fine. But it would be best to upgrade if you can.If that helps.
