Matt Vandart
Yeah, I just push mine on, and there fine, it's really not that hard.I pushed mine on and they were not fine, so I started a thread to find out how to fix it.Why would I have started a thread about how I pushed my new foam grips on and they were fine, and it really wasn't hard.Either give me a sensible suggestion or f**k off.Matt

The Duck
Earlier trialtech grips were fine with just water. Got some new ones (with the logos on either end) and they are wack. Nothing can make them stick.

Nothing can make them stick. I've got the newer ones with the logo's and i found the same the usual hairspray trick didnt work and with nothing at all they just span on the bars. Clear spray laquer worked a treat for me

craigjames
Just be a man and whack them on without the use of lubes.Right for every other tool out there that wont read the fecking thread, the lad and everyone else whos mentioned a solution has no issue getting the grips on the bars, far from the issue, they're too loose and require sticking to keep them still, he states that hairspray doesnt work and he's wanting an alternative that does. I wonder what's changed?
Duncy H
I too find my older ones better to the newer ones, I think that the older ones have a smaller diameter meaning you have to stretch them over the bars unlike the new ones which are thicker on the inside. It's clear people liked the original type why not just stick with them instead of them being discontinued and making new ones?
AdamR28
They are the same grip, bar the logo. I had a small problem getting my first 'logod' set to stick (something to do with release agent inside the grip following the addition of a logo possible), but if you just clean the inside of the grip before you put it on there's no problem. Mowgli
my new set arrived today, after a comparison between new logo'd ones and old, the old ones seem to be ever so slightly tacky on the inside and the new one rally smooth. i am unsure which method i will use to get the new to stick, will review when done. Otacon
Recieved my today in the post.Asked my dad how he thought i could get them to stick and stay solid. So he gave me this:Squirted it twice at either end of the grip, then spread it round all along the inside of the grips.Left them on the bike for 20 minutes, come back, and i've literally tried with all my force to move them and they just wont budge
