RossMcd
Hey!I have a Tryall 'H' rear hub with a Tryall sprocket and by the looks of things there doesn't seem to be room to accommodate a wider chain. The spokes seem really close to the chain I'm running at the moment and its an 8 speed chain. Before I go out and buy a new chain I would like to know if a wider chain will fit my setup. Thanks! Ash-Kennard
yeah will be fine if you are buying the lightest components though a 1/8" chain may not be benificial for you...
sayshell
anyone? i need to know before i go spending! If I were you I would be safe. buy a spacer that they use to seperate the bashring and put that on the hub. It looks like it will be a really tight fit, the spacer is like 2$ so you might as well get it. Try it without the spacer and if it fails than add the spacer in. Usually their is enough thread on the hub to run a spacer and cog. + you can file down the spacer. Edited May 31, 2009 by sayshell
RossMcd
Im not too bothered about the weight of a chain. Its not going to make the bike feel any heavier. And I have no chance of removing the cog and my chain line is spot on so I dont want to wreck it. Ill just go to the lbs and get a chain and hope it fits lol!
