trials ryan
Hi i want to get rid of some weight on my bike i have checked the lightweight thread and there is only mention of 26" tyres and since i ride a mod i would like to know which is the lightest 19" tyre for trials and a fairly strong but light tube. Also a 20" trye please, i ride normal street if you want to call it never any natty. Thanks Ryan
MiuSliS
For the rear I'd say Eagle claw. For the front Try-all sticky. Of course you could use something else for the front like Mojo, but i prefer wider tyres for trials. Edited May 23, 2009 by MiuSliS

LiamWood!
Have you still got the steel onza bars and stem ryan?If so i would replace them first, and save loads of weight and it will ride better.Mod tyres are all ruffly the same. You could also switchto a front freewheel set up to save a bit more weight and agian it will ride better.
ginger allen echo
Do you like riding with bald tyres or with tread still left on them? If you like riding with bald tyres cut the side nobbles of them, saves a few grams and they tyres are pretty bouncy too.ive got front and back maxxis creapy crawlers fully slick. Feels really nice to ride. Edited May 27, 2009 by ginger allen echo

LiamWood!
What did you order, cranks or a bars and stem combo?
scottcj9
Get a kenda small block on the front, they are about half the weight of a try-all tyre and have better grip, they are more for street because they are a bmx tyre but still give fantastic grip on rock and woodScott
