Sam F
Ok, well i got my new hub.. and my new rim.. I know it is possible to build 36h hub to 32h rim as i've seen people do it, i know as much as miss 2 spokes on each flange and 12 o'clock and on the other side 6 o'clock if you understand that? But i was using OBM's guide and i got as far as starting from the right of the valve hole and missed out a spoke on the hub flange but then i came to the hole i celotaped over and it has a 2 holes next to each other so basically i was ment to put the next spoke through the missing spoke hole then i got confused and undone everything i done. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks guys!Sam.
Maladie
What would of made it easier for you is to order the right rim and hub in the first place As for building it I don't really know, but i'm sure it can be done, just in theory won't hold up aswell. Sam F
I got the echo SL rim with the echo TR fixed hub, i wanted a Chris King but only got 36h so i thought i'd get it, it will hold up fine.. for definate, my friend has his profile built onto an echo rim (32h) and that's fine, just gotta hope my local will do it for me aswell, he works full time and that so my friend was lucky to get him to build it i guess lol. Maladie
Yeah good idea, or you could look on here to see if there are any riders from your area that are willing to build it for you
