Simpson
Oh my gosh it just looks so nice and clean! I soo want one NOW.However is there a reason why you can only run dual disk with it? Surely Koxx know that all the 24" rides love their Vee brakes? Seems a bit wierd that the company hasn't even given you the option of running a maggie or a Vee and only allowed you to run rear disk on it? Just feels strange to me why they have done it? I know Koxx are on a mission to get everyone onto rear disk (as are monty) but they must realise that these bikes are going to be ridden by STREET riders who couldn't give a damm about getting mud on their rims, or it being soaking wet at a trial? But other than that I think it looks amazing! And I'm so tempted to save up and get one because it just looks so damm good!!!!! I really like the seat-tube angle because it looks like you could run pretty much any saddle slammed without having any tyre clearance issues, which has been the downside of other 24" "trials" frames . However the chainstay and wheelbase looks a bit long for it to be a "streety" "street" bike. However maybe the lower BB compensates for this? And horizontal drop outs?Who's riding one? What are they like? And whats everyones oppinions?
stoozie
I was going to get it if it came out in frame only and fix all my Zoot stuff onto it.But then that got stolen It does look really nice though, may have to buy the full build
Revolver
One of the reasons it's only dual disc is so it can be ridden with 26"s.
Papa Manual
Wow. That looks really nice. I never thought I'd say that about a Koxx.
Muel
Ever tried a disc in the rain or mud simps? Imagine koolstops on a smooth rim...Looks to me it's more aimed for skatepark type stuff than trialsy type stuff, a disc would be fine as long as it has a decent wheelbuild and a stiff frame. Simpson
One of the reasons it's only dual disc is so it can be ridden with 26"s.Yea I read that but why do it? It may be an original idea but why not make a 24" OR a 26"??? street riders have the genral feeling (I believe) that 24" is the fun way to go atm and I dont see why you would build your design arround sitting on the wall not going either way. Lets be honest their only real competition is Inspired, as 24s don't seem popular at all. And with that design and build quality I can picture them being strong competitors with inspired?Ever tried a disc in the rain or mud simps? Imagine koolstops on a smooth rim...Yea the Monty in my avatar... worked fine in the pissing rain!

Greetings
That looks amazing, I want one too. With Koxx now "supporting" 24" bikes, this trend is bound to become mainstream.
Bionic Balls
I reckon your bike looks a load nicer than that Simps...Doesn't look so amazing to me- it looks a bit..too trialsy maybe?think it's the bars..and the bashring..I am making wild assumptions..please don't go nuts. JDâ„¢
I've gotta say I totally agree with him Simps, your bike is lush whereas this is just a bit... "Meh". Can't put my finger on why but it just doesn't look very nice at all to me.
Dan6061
It's nice, but it's not that nice...
eskimo
Are you saying that a disc in the mud or rain is like a koolstop on a smooth rim? Although he might have been thinking of something else? Seems a bit strange. The frame seems a good buy coming in under £300.
MiuSliS
Looks a bit too long for me. Kind of seems like a 26" frame with 24" wheels.
bigamac
Maybe with the dual disc, and it being a koxx. Could it be made for natty? but a 24"
Bigman
The 24inch specification was, if i remember correctly suggested by the tarty crew to make the bike more appealing to the UK market, the bike that is sold in france etc with that frame is actualy a 26inch bike........I realy like it too, would love to have one as a play bike!Adam
Skoze
That is HOT, but if i remember rightly, about 40mm too long Anyway - no steel no care

The whole geo of the frame makes sence if this is true.
AdamR28
Nope, not at all.. In fact we've sold more Inspired bikes/frames recently outside the UK than inside.

AdamR28
A mixture, a bit more trialsy than Danny.
Muel
Are you saying that a disc in the mud or rain is like a koolstop on a smooth rim? Yes, just like koolstops on a smooth rim in the dry. I've had 3 DD bikes now spanning nearly 2 years and i've never had a disc that worked in the rain, as soon as the rotor got wet or muddy there was no bite or hold. Not just spitting, I'm taking about rain, so the rotor can't actually get dry by getting hot. Simpson
A mixture, a bit more trialsy than Danny.I know you speak a fair bit to Koxx, why did they chose to try to make a bike which fitted 24 & 26" when the market for 24's is a good enough market to target? Also whats your oppinion on the dual disk? All 24 riders love their Vees.... and the BB height is better for street but its just too long?Yes, just like koolstops on a smooth rim in the dry. I've had 3 DD bikes now spanning nearly 2 years and i've never had a disc that worked in the rain, as soon as the rotor got wet or muddy there was no bite or hold.My disks have always worked fine straight out of most fountains... Brian Bleech
Looks to me it's more aimed for skatepark type stuff than trialsy type stuff, a disc would be fine as long as it has a decent wheelbuild and a stiff frame.I don't think so, it looks like the front end would be too long and headangle too slack for skatepark stuff. The geo just looks a bit wrong for 24". That said it reminds me a bit of the old echo pures, so would probably ride pretty sweet if you ran 26". Scott Gibbs
As a frame it looks awesome with the colour and graphics, but as it has been said its too long, bout 20-25mm too long for 24" use. As for rim brake mounts, koxx could of used a similar system to DMR's aps system on the old trailstar and sidekick that would of worked for v brakes at least! its still the inspired for me personally, although a custom marino may be in order! im gunna have to rethink my build ideas cuz those tioga DH rims look too good to pass up. thats my 2 pence worth im of to go eat a large sandwich!!!!! ciao!
