Ollie Histon
Are there actually any saddles which are slammable to the 24uk mk2? Looking for a really short length seat...
monkeyseemonkeydo
Are there actually any saddles which are slammable to the 24uk mk2? Looking for a really short length seat...If you run one with rails and run an offset seatpost back to front you should be able to get away with it... Or just buy an Inspired. sstein
What about bmx style micro-adjusts or integrated seat/post? Edited May 18, 2009 by sstein
Revolver
What about bmx style micro-adjusts or integrated seat/post?Depends on the size of the post. I know eclat do one, the complex, but it's also bmx sized seatpost, which doesn't fit an inspired. I'm assuming the 24uk is the same seatpost size though, if it's actually bmx sized, no problem What I mean is, there aren't very many/any 27.2 integrated post/seats.Pivotal setup? sstein
Run an adaptor. Halfords sell 'em for a few pounds.
Ollie Histon
Pivotal setup?Yeah thats what i was hoping, but judjing my most pictures ive seen most seats will still hit the tyre like in this pic. So im looking for the shortest pivotal seat there is?
Matthew62
Looking at it though, how would a saddle be slammable unless you ran it massively offset. The seat angle on the 24UK is rediculous. The saddle would need to end around 1cm behind the seat tube - i doubt you'll ever get that with a pivatol set-up.You'll just have to run a railed saddle and hoik it a long way forward - it will look a bit shit, but you don't have much option. I'm still unsure why the seat angle is as extreme as it is!? Edited May 19, 2009 by Matthew62
