Any phone is welcome as long as it is modern ( interprit your own way what modern means). Please if dont think this is a good topic PM me.. dont clog it up. Happened to my brothers after around a year too. Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 I found the nokia 6300 is a fabulous (SP) phone for cycling, it is strong (i used it for the odd game of darts once or twice), the battery life is good to start of with, the screen is bright, it is loud! Bad points throwing it 15ft+ in the air and landing on the odd stone will break the case, the case is not easy to get off, it needs a special torx key. the scrren well nothing happened to it. adamtrials Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 (edited) The phone I am referring to is the BT Stratus 1500.It has a sexy black finish, and a good quality screen.The best bit is the internal call facility, free calls to any room in the house!It comes in a twin pack and can also be used in conjunction with loads of other compatible handsets.The docking station is easy to use and charges the phone in no time.I would rate it as 8/10, it would be a 10 if the inbuilt ringers were better. Skoze Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 What is a topic without a bit of banter?I've got an LG Viewty, paid £30 for it, i've scratched to f**k, battery lasts ages, touch screen isn't the most responsive but it works ok, camera's surprisingly good for a phone.It's cheap, calls people and sends texts, so i'm happy. Pashley26 Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 I've got a Sagum £20 jobbie.It's really good, I've been in two car crashes with it, put the it through the tumble dryer and dropped it in the bath.It still works well and is so ugly that nobody would ever nick it.It had 4 ring tones, holds 10 texts and has an Alarm.Hope I've helped. Its the third one ive had because they keep breaking and orange keep sending me the same phone. On all 3 of them the cybershot camera didnt work properly. The flash doesnt work on the camera, just on filming. Its pretty glitchyIt looks good and the slidy cameras good, the lights super bright for a torch too. Its slim and light aswel. What more could you want.In my case, an iphone.However no, I was actually pretty happy when my old samsung broke and I had an ancient nokia, because you really dont give a shit, you chuck it around etc. and because its an old nokia, it doesnt break.
