grant_hundley
you can, but your gearing will feel heavier. Could try 18-16 to make it feel a bit lighter?
Greetings
Wrong sub forum man.I run 158 cranks on 17:16 gearing, personally find it to be a great setup. It's all a matter or preference, this can't be decided on a forum. If you are unsure, try 165mm cranks. pogo
I'm running 165 with a 22:18 ratio, works fine, slightly more difficult to pedal kick but it's awesome to half pedal stroke.
forteh
Im running 165 burns, 18:15 was too heavy and 18:16 felt too light. Running 16:14 and it feels about spot on.16:14@165 is the same effective ratio at 18:15@
