Jitters
I start out a yearner and usually end up with the covers twisted and a wreck, pillows all over the place and sprawled out in every direction by morning time. The aliens make me do that. boon racoon
Lie on my front for ages, get really relaxed. Turn onto my back and I'm asleep within a minute. Never fails
Gavyn.
on my own it varies a lot lol some mornings i wake up with my head at the bottom of the bed. sometimes i wake up with my feet on the floor so i'm sitting on the edge of the bed but lying back. When i'm with someone feotus/soldier always I never like turn over or move or anything it's weird.
Tomm
I used to be a freefaller, but sometimes when I sleep like that I dislocate my shoulder and wake up with a dead arm So I've trained myself to change how I sleep and now I'm a yearner. I wonder if your personality dictates your sleep pattern, or vice versa. Maybe I've become more cynical as a result of changing how I lie
middleageman
I'm quite surprised no one has shared their experiences of sleepwalking yet? I used to a lot. But my Wife tells me, that I've now progressed to 'sleep trials'. She could handle the sidehops from floor to matress, and just about tolerate my up to fronts. But apparently, I've recently started gapping the wardrobes. She's now insisting I go to bed wearing a helmet.
Maladie
I sleep in the foetus position every night.I am also one in the ten that likes to be covered by the whole duvet This is a very interesting study
Jamie_Trials
i sleep kind of like the foetus position but my legs arnt tucked in (this may be why my leg are long compared to my body )
Rich J
With this in mind i planned to see what position I was in when I woke up compared to when I went to bed... I forgot.
Captain Scarlet
I sleep on my side, one arm under the pillow the other holding the quilt.I've awoken in the freefall position shit scared, its really freaky stuff trying to turn yourself over; in a single bed, middle of the night, with dead arms. Its like being paralysed.
omgnoseat
foetus position, but holding a pillow/girlfriend against my stomach. Not sure why I do that, but it makes me feel "safe".Interested study indeed, not sure how much of it is true though
Rich J
I sleep on my side, one arm under the pillow the other holding the quilt. This is what I tried to describe. This is how i sleep.
Bronz
…in a single bed, middle of the night, with dead arms. Its like being paralysed. Yeah man I know what you mean. It's best when you roll over and one of the dead arms swings into your face—makes you feel like someone's trying to tw@ you while you sleep. That's happened to me loads and it scares the bejesus out of me every time. Edited May 17, 2009 by Bronz
Max Quinn
Anyone ever woken up thinking someones strangling them but it's just their own dead hand clamped loosely around their kneck? That shits f**ked up.
aener
No idea.I have real trouble getting to sleep. It takes so long that I've gone through most all of these, and I don't know how I am when I finally drift off.Can never get comfy - despite having a memory foam mattress.
