Ross McArthur
After visiting Tarty and riding Hook Wood we were on a high. We headed for Dover to catch the ferry for Calais. To Buthiers! Off we chugged in the freezing fog in the van all wrapped in our sleeping bags. It was all worth the trip from Bonnie Scotland. Here is some of the best photos from Buthiers.Ben TravisRichard TowlerStuart RobertsonRoss McArthurWhy so sad?FrencheeeCheck those guns ooot!Danny Mac!!Na, FAIL.And a few Funnies...Towlers frameA French noob taking a phone photo of the vanMe Driving the "1960's camper van" and watching Frankie Boyle.Of course were not lost, weve got a f**king massive book to tell us where to go.Collecting wood for our..FIAAAAAAA!Sare bawsMassive bawsSare ankleThe third part of the trip to come soon. Road trip looks like a laugh.Yea man, I got "wings" welded on the seat tube (if you can call it that) to the chain stay yolks, kind of like the Ashton Justice frames. It started to crack again over the new welds on the last day of the holiday. It took a fair pounding though. The wings held it together.I've had it rewelded again so I hope it lasts for another wee while. Although, I know it wont last forever as its not being tempered after its being welded.I am liking it too much to change just now.
