Ryan.
Basically i'm looking to book two tickets to portsmouth right this second, However, the website says that i have to have my credit card with me to proove its my tickets...i'm using my dads credit card who's at the other end of the country, so there's no chance of me getting it. Can i just print off my confirmation emails, with the ticket confirmation number and use that at the ticket office? or is there no other way? Rich J
Yeah should be fine taking a copy if not just get a photocopy of the card or at least the numbers you inputted.
Hendrix
All I can suggest it taking everything with you, aka card details. Remember to do a print screen/print off of the confirmation page to take with you.I think it's to do with the ticket machines that dispense the tickets needing the card to realize what t dispatch, I don't know if they can do it in the office.. Mark W
I'm pretty sure they don't confirm the payment 'til you use your credit card at the machine itself, so I don't think it's gonna work properly, unfortunately.
Ryan.
But there's also a ticket office, where you have the option to collect....couldnt i just take in all the card details, confirmation emails with my reserve number and show them that it's deffo my ticket? Mark W
Ah, fair enough. The only times I've done it they've wanted me to take the ref number and go to an actual machine, there was no mention of ticket offices...
Otacon
Is your mum in the country ? (Sorry if you both your parents arn't together etc), if so use her card, or if you've got cash, just go to your local station and purchase your tickets with cash ? JD™
Ring them up and ask? Explain the situation and then you'll know for sure
MattB
You have to put the card into the machine before it does anything so you will need the card.
