Jackibrap
I've had a quick glance at magura hydraulic rim brakes and am wondering which ones are the best. Echo,HS33 or HS11? Your knowledge is much needed. Thank you.
Mission Prodigy Trials.
My opinion would be that Magura Hs33's would be the best because you can get different types of boosters and accessories for them.
ginger allen echo
The HS33 model is used by literaly everyone on this forum, HS11 are the downgraded verisions of the HS33 (Correct me if i'm wrong people).Apparently the Echo brakes(Denguras)are not that good and that they leak and feel realy spongy, but thats personal preference.Ginger Allen
Alex Dark
HS11s = larger piston'd, longer bladed hs33s with a composite leverHS33s = same slaves and lines as the hs11, but with an aluminium blade, TPA , smaller master piston , shorter blade ( although longer aftermarket blades can be bought seperately)Echo brake = dengura = Ok.....you might be lucky and get a non-leaky one, basically a tarted up 05 magura, cncd blade , pistons and lever body. same piston as standard, but with a longer bladeBest brake to get by a long shot is an 04 magura with an rb designs lever....but as these are as rare as rocking horse sh!t, an 05 with a "deng" lever blade, or magura 4 finger blade will do the job just as well due to the extra leverageAny more questions...just ask
