Hub Bolts

Reet so i bought a t-master hub brand new and first time i tightened up my bolts i snapped it, this left part in the hub and was a hassle to get out. After that a friend gave me some but i was paranoid about them snapping so never did them up tight enough. After my wheel constantly slipping i put a QR on it, this was to big and the bit which stuck out bent but it held my wheel in place. I just got a new frame and had to saw my QR and its bent to crap at both ends and need a new way of holding my hub in place. Was looking on tarty at these two axle bolts, http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=22 and http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=22 Will they fit? Which is better? And will they snap like my onza ones? Any help appreiciated :) Really wanna get riding again :(

My brothers did exactly the same thing. I spoke to supercycles but they wouldn't admit the bolts were tosh.

I just replaced them with some plain old stainless steel ones, I could get them much tighter and they have been in for nearly 2 years.

I wouldn't buy them off Tarty, what you need is some M5 bolts that are about 50mm long, the T-Master threads go all the way into the centre of the hub from either side if I remember rightly, so you might aswell use as much of the threads as possible to prevent it from stripping. (Aluminium axle threads are much more likely to strip with stainless bolts in there).
