Ash-Kennard
ive been using hsb backings for a fair while now, used heatsink reds, phat pads and coust pads. ive found the coust pads to be the best, sheerly because they hold really well, but are quieter. i found the phattys to be very loud and violent on the brakes. it just doesnt suit my style. backing wise i very much doubt there will be any noticable difference. so i voted for the reliable hsb backings. the only problem ive had is that they did snap one of my pistons and stretched another. so i bought some more and havent had a problem since. it was a minor inconvenience and i had been using them for ages. so whatever
