JT!
In my head I've got Super Light and 'TRaining'. Which makes no sense.
Ben John-Hynes
Is it ACTUALLY super light? Or are we just making assumptions?
hdmackay
Is it ACTUALLY super light? Or are we just making assumptions?I think it is. I've heard it before. And... All the SL stuff is drilled to f**k and IS superlight so...
Ben John-Hynes
It's "Super Light" and "Trial". So the "Super Light" stuff isn't meant for trials Ok Deng.
TTian
it is super light for sure.drilling millions of hole on each new echo product is the only difference between sl and whatever it used to be.
andyb
I would go with superlight and training.Although comp and street would have done.

forteh
it is super light for sure.Like the SL rear rims that are 150g heavier than a tryall? About the only things that are infact super light about that range are the forks and look how tremendously fail they are
Ben John-Hynes
Cranks are fairly light, too. Koxx ones are still lighter haha.

Ben John-Hynes
And middleburns lighter still Only the arms, though... And your ghey TI bash...xD
forteh
Only the arms, though... And your ghey TI bash...xDNah the ti bash isnt that light, the 16t steel TNN one is the same weight. The 175 burns + 16t alloy TNN bash is only 451g, the tyall are 460g with the lightest bash and no sprocket (add another 40-50g for a 16t screw on).Sorry enough middleburns bumming for now edit: lightest 16t screw on is the viz alloy at 30g, so burns are 40g lighter than a comparable tryall setup Edited May 6, 2009 by forteh
Greetings
Cranks are fairly light, too. Koxx ones are still lighter haha.ECHO SL series is not the lightest bike we can make, in fact we can make it even lighter very easily -- drill big holes on the rims, smaller diameter axle, smaller bering, bigger holes on the cogs ......, but we don't do that. That will make the parts weaker at the same timeClearly doesn't apply to forks.
Jamie East
Isnt some TR stuff lighter than the SL parts?Hubs for example, i think the TR front disk is actually lighter than the SL disk hub, this makes no sense Jamie
