widby
hi,i'm looking at building up a half decent 26'' trials frame. I'd prefer strength and low cost over it being lightweight. What would you recommend, considering it's on a low budget and i'd rather that the high stress components (e.g. forks, hubs) were bought from new.for forks, what about Onza Fall Guys? and an FSA Pig Pro headset?what size rotor for a front disc, 180 or 203?are there any alternatives to hs11/33 hydraulic rim brakes?bottom bracket recommendations?cheers, rich
sstein
Get marino frame and forks as they cost boll*cks all and are made from steel!
Adam Griffiths
A zoo pitbull 07 or an equivalent echo are quite strong and fairly cheap a new ones only £180.
jambo
I find a 180 disc up front plenty power full, I wouldn't even look at an hs11 stick to hs33s much stronger, or alternatively you could always go with the v brake option, amazing the power they have with a set of good pads. As for hubs the value for money you get out of a hope pro 2 is amazing iv had mine for 2 years and not even had to strip it and if something does go wrong parts are easy to get and cheap.
