Daniel C
Does your bike have maguras?and is it a standard onza?if so to both of them, why not get a set of deicent brake pads, new bar and stem combo and some decent forks?you could maybe even change your cranks and get a front freewheel if you dont already have one?IMO getting those wheels are a waste of money because your not going to be destroying your wheels in a hurry. BlueSmokeyJoe
everything on the bike is standard. Hi, seen as your wheels are only 3 weeks old it seems a bit daft replacing them, if I were you I would look to invest in a HS33 for the rear (along with evo mounts) as this will aid your riding and help you improve further, rather than a new set of wheels . Also it would definately be worth investing in a better freewheel that you could fit to the rear hub, or buy some new cranks+BB+sprocket and convert to a FFW setup? ......but if you do decide to buy a new set of wheels, I personally would avoid bright coloured rims as I think wheels look far more stylish and understated if they are black or silver. I had a set built up compremising of Silver Echo 07 rims, Black Hope Pro2 disk hub, Black Echo fixed hub, Black spokes+nipples and Black rim tape. I think they look good as the hub/spokes/nipples blend in together but the silver rims bring out the black rim tape. Hope this helps . Hope this helps .Thanks for this mate, it helps out alot.I think I will now put some money towards the hydro brake for the back wheel, as long as I don't have to spend more than £100?And I guess that's quite true about the wheels. I might just go for 2 white rims, 2 white hubs and black spokes.Would that look better?Cheers
Simpson
And I don't see why I should change all of that lot instead of the wheels ..?Because a wheel is a wheel as long as its round and spins a £300 wheel will do the same as onza own wheel. (assuming its fixed) . Sharp brakes will help you to improve 10X faster than round wheels, which you already have.
dannybingle
New wheels are not going to help you improve on your performance, Parts what will help you are things like new stem bars and forks etc as for it will make the fell of the bike alot better. If i was you i would get a new rear brake and new bars and stem.Hope I helped.Cheers Dan
