Luke_zoo
Drill through the forks or frame?Whitch ever one it is and put a bolt all the way through the holes and but a lock bolt on the over end and bobs your uncle you can ride agen or you can drill the mounts out and tap them to M6 or drill it out to M6 and heilcoil ?But the bolt idea is what I would go for my self I know some one on the forum has done it and it was a good idea. weirdoku
Best is get them helicoiled, drilling to M6 and stripping that means drilling out to even bigger size holes which you'll probably strip again...Helicoils done right are hard to damage. Adam Griffiths
If you buy some Liquid metal paste and put some in the hole where the mount bolt goes then buy a tapping tool and re-thread it. this should sort out your problem.
