Mini0n
Hey guys, i'm new here. I was hoping that you guys might be able to help me ? I wanted to get a new street trail bike, however i'm new to it, so i have no idea what size the frame and rims should be in. Do people normally use 24" frame and wheels? Jake Beach
If you are starting, start on a mod. And it's trial NOT trail. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=10Hey guys, i'm new here. I was hoping that you guys might be able to help me ? Maladie
Yeah, i agree with what Jake said, although it does also depend on the size of you, are you a tall guy? If so maybe a 26" is the way to go(There aren't many 24" riders that i know of)
Mini0n
Unfortunately i'm not a tall guy ): I'm only about 163-165cm tall. As i already have a mountain bike, do you guys think it is advisible to convert my mountain bike into a street trial bike? By changing the brakes to disc brakes( My mountain bike only have a v-brake atm ), then change the gears and finally the frame? From what i know, there isn't really any shops selling "already made" street trial bike. Or i am wrong?
Adam Griffiths
Tarty bikes sell ready made bikes of all sizes. i found a 26" easy to learn on.
JT!
I'd stay away from converting your mountain bike. It's best just to go out and buy a new bike as it'll take lots of upgrades for you're bike to actually ride like a trials bike.Keep checking out the forsale section, 24" aren't as popular as 26" streety bikes so you could probably get a better deal on a 26".On the other hand if you have a spare grand laying about...http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=

Bronz
I'm 6'4" and ride mod, no worries. Though I wouldn't mind shifting to a stock at some point.
