Been woundering this for while now. Why are all Deng parts weak?

Like with my echo rear brake it leakes like mad striped the threds so easy was only just putting it on so it just graps the bars.

What are the deng free hubs like ?

I've heard from people they are kind of a bad idea? And some said there ok.

I have been thinking to get a differnt hub as my profile is heavy but I want my bike to be lighter so i can shuck it about a lot better.

Does anybody know why they are weak and would there be any point me buying one.. Any snaped on you? (hubs)

luke :)

buy some reliable parts insted of his then... maybe their blingbling parts are pretty cheap and cool but it's god if the bike don't fall apart when you're riding it :P

TBF I really wouldn't cool them cheap.

I wouldn't go that far. Most deng stuff is the strongest stuff you can get. Just a few things, mainly Echo, may be prone to snapping. On the whole they make strong stuff though. >_<

as a general statement, anything deng makes with moving parts and seels tends to be shiyte!

their cassete hubs are f**king aweful and you'd need to be contemplating suicide to buy one, the strength of engagement isnt that great so they often skip.

stay away from the ECHO SL forks aswell as theyre shite too.

apart from that most of his stuff is super reliable and strong.

Good afordable trials gear for the masses - just keep away from his moving parts ;)
