Miffting
Hey Sam Here, im just starting and i wondered what sort of hights to start dropping off first, Plus please tell me about your highest drop offs and what they were off Cheers
sstein
When starting just try and drop off small things, get the technique on curbs and slowly work your way up. If you are not smooth off of something small, then you will hurt yourself on bigger things!
Alex Dark
Hey Sam Here, im just starting and i wondered what sort of hights to start dropping off first, Plus please tell me about your highest drop offs and what they were off Cheersid say about 1.5ft to start dropping off first...gives youa feel of what the bike does in the air when it leaves the edge...My biggest drop is around 9ft i think

Alex@Flawless Bikes
Just start small and work up I started off small walls about 2ft ish, anyway my highest drop is off a bottle bank so 6ft around. Then again once you can drop 6ft smooth then there isn't really any point trying to go higher unless you really want to.

T-MAG RIDER 09
Hello Your best off starting low then getting higher (if youve never done it before) Then you get your own style and technique My highest is about 5ft Thanks Matti

pashleylips
Mines about 20 ft because i only ever ride big...... Just kidding! More like 5 ft, im a bit of a whimp when it comes to heights! Start off on 1-2ft first buddy, really start to get a feel of the bike and technique before you start going any bigger or it will just end in tears! A.Baxter
As people have said make sure you have the technique before going for biger drops as it is very easy to mess up. My highest is about 5 ft not too sure what it was off though and i was landing on grass (A) Adam
trialsmax04
Yea i literally just started doing proper drops tonight. Its just a matter of getting the balls to do it. Im always worried about dropping the front end too much and face planting. But i did a 2ft 6 drop tonight and im happy with that for now . Luke-O
My highest drop is about 5ft off a wall.
Dan6061
I think mine's around 13 blue pallets, however high that is? Landing on concrete. I quite like big drops, even though they can ruin your backwheel...
chrishayton
why does it matter, the skills in getting up something..Not really. Theres some pretty big drops in competitions and if you land badly and roll out of section or put your feet down its all over. So its pretty vital you can drop 6 foot or so and land smoothly
Dave Anscombe
ive done 12/13 feet i think...either way i did f**k up my rear rim doing it ......Nothing Scares the shit out of me like a big drop
