jack101311
Smooth grinds can ruin wheels they weaken the rim which makes it easier to rim and break.
Cowman.S
I recommend you get a medium grind and run a cheap set of rock pads, should work a treat
Krisboats
Hello just saw that a moderator used TGS as a style of riding and just wondered what it is ?Thanks Josh...Tap, gap, sidehop. Basically people sitting around the same thing for a while doing the same move over and over on the same wall before moving somewhere else to repeat the move yet again. Somewhat regarded as lacking in variation.

howard-moon
I ride a grind with plazmatics real strong.Using an oil bleed, found water to be a little temperamental! Also use a bit of monty's spray when it's bein a bit crap. Mission Prodigy Trials.
I would just use smooth rims when using V-brakes or Hydraulic rim brakes. Grinding gives the brakes more power but wears down pads faster .
Ben John-Hynes
Light grind, tar and some decent pads Why would you use tar AND a grind? You're killing your pads and your rim without needing to. And you're losing perfprmance in your brake, 'cause it won't work with tar in the wet!Just makes NO sense Tap, gap, sidehop. Basically people sitting around the same thing for a while doing the same move over and over on the same wall before moving somewhere else to repeat the move yet again. Somewhat regarded as lacking in variation.Shut up. That's YOUR opinion of it, it can be repititive but it's not ALL taps gaps and sidehops.
