TJ.
Hi I have suspected Glandular Fever, has anybody had it or know of any symptons or how to get over it quicker.I have an assement weekend this weekend for my apprenteship and they are not sure if they should allow me to go, I have my GCSE exams in about 3 weeks and school said if my blood test results come back to show I have it then they dont want to see me for 2 to 6 weeks and they will send work out for me to do at home.If anybody has any ideas or help it would be good to hear or just your experiences of Glandular Fever. Many thanks TJ
chrishayton
I had it at Alevel a few years ago and to be honest all you can do is rest, there no real treatment for it except rest. Its a shitty thing to get but hopefully in a couple of weeks you ll be feeling alot better. It can take 6 month though sometimes to feel 100% so stay off the bike for a couple of months at least. Hopefully your blood test will come back ok and your just a bit run down.

Jed
Had it during my final GCSE year. It sucks major balllls. It took around a year to get over. Basically you feel exhausted for ages and you will get cold at the drop of a hat. So if you have got it, gutted.

Tomm
Had it during my final GCSE year. It sucks major balllls. It took around a year to get over. Basically you feel exhausted for ages and you will get cold at the drop of a hat. So if you have got it, gutted. It's not like that for everyone - Some people get over it much quicker, in 2-4 weeks. I don't think there's much you can do to predict which camp you're in (and of course there is a big range in between).

Fishy
Through mates and family having it, recovery rate has ranged from two weeks to over a year. Like it's been said, rest is key to get rid.
