No it won't.

It can do gaps, but it can also go round in circles.

thats the thing though aint it?

my mod can do gaps but it cant do a semi circle

thought it was designed for both?

it mite of bin

but if you buy a fourplay you could use it for more then trials

which you can use a mtb for trials like hans ray and old skool riders do

where as a gu or a zoo! you could only use it for trials

can u use it for trials? um, yeh of course....thats the whole point of me buying one, but u got more versatility for streety stuff because of the geo. Change your stem & riser depending on how u wanna ride it. If you wanted a pure streety style, there are 100s of bmx frames to choose from :)

hello everyone

me and a friend are having a long winded argument about the inspired fourplay

so i thought id ask on here to share youre views and hopefully sort this one out once and for all ;)

i say street (Y)

he says trials (N)

Hello Toby

I'm guessing this friend is Disaster Revolver Boy Jeff Bruce Lee

I think its both, but predominantly a street bike, so I voted street.

It depends how he rides it really. Tobiarse mostly rides it as a trials bike, although he wants to do street moves

But hey, we can ask TrialTech Dave next time he's out for a ride with us!

Both. Plus a bit of park if you're that way inclined, or singletrack if you've got the gearing and a mamma seat post, or dirt jumping if you fancy... It is simply a very versatile bike for everything.

I've ridden mine on dirtjumps, north shore, street, street tirals, 'proper' trials and am also doing the Hampshire comp series on it this year. And to be perfectly honest it feels 'right' for everything I've tried on it. They really are awesome little things!

Edit: didn't vote for the above reasons.

Just becuase you can't do it doesn't mean you can lol 1handedluke used to 3 his long echo lite out of southbank, so its possible for sure.

Yea its the type of bike you cant put into a box, every week I will do something different on my bike, went out last week with BMX'ers on the street and didnt do any rear wheel hopping, more hops manuals and spins, as i do at the skate park. However last night with trials riders I was doing more sidehops and rear wheel gaps... it can do everything. I say its street trials. So I'm not going to vote either way

Its influenced by him arguing with me at work that my bike isn't a trials bike.

_bi_6907.jpg

THAT is a STREET bike.

inspired-blue.jpg

THAT is a street TRIALS bike.

What about sayshell, and his bmx tricks on his bionic?

You're going to say, 'but it's not designed for doing that.'

So then I say, 'But the inspired fourplay IS designed for trials.'

and then you say, 'SHURRUP AM RITE YOU'RE WRONG GO AWAY : '

I'm confused by what you're trying to get at there... No, you couldn't ride singletrack or dirtjumps on a 20" Monty... not with any level of success anyway. However you can on an Inspired while also being able to backwheel and sidehop pretty much as high as the Monty. In theory the Inspired is less 'specialised' than a full on trials bike, however the geometry and feel of the bike means it still manages incredibly well with whatever type of riding you throw at it.

You do realise you haven't actually asked a question!? You've just stated trials or street.......what about them? Are you asking if te Inspired is intended for one or the other....? as if you are there is no answer. Over classification of an area or subject is a completly pointless endevour.

Again if that is your question which i'm not sure it is.....first you have to answer what a street bike is, then what a trials bike....again you will find no answer so there is no result. Defining a bike or a genre is not a black and white issue so therfore it cannot be one or the other.......just ride your bike however you want in whichever style you want and do it for yourself - that is all that matters.

Nope.

Okay, what's an orange zero?

It has a seat tube, and is short... Hell it CAN'T BE A TRIALS BI- its a trials bike.

Seeing as no-one can win this argument, how about we STOP ARGUING ABOUT IT. I don't want to go to work and continue it.

This topic kind of sums up what's wrong with trials... Over classification is a bad thing. The great thing about Danny Mac is that he just rides his bike how he wants and has fun doing it. He'd probably call himself a trials rider but at the end of the day IT DOESN'T MATTER! The Inspired, and 24" trials in general, seem to allow the rider to just have fun, regardless what you're doing and for some reason it stops you from thinking in such a restrictive way... it's weird!
