Tobiarse mostly rides it as a trials bike, although he wants to do street movesBut hey, we can ask TrialTech Dave next time he's out for a ride with us! Plus a bit of park if you're that way inclined, or singletrack if you've got the gearing and a mamma seat post, or dirt jumping if you fancy... It is simply a very versatile bike for everything.I've ridden mine on dirtjumps, north shore, street, street tirals, 'proper' trials and am also doing the Hampshire comp series on it this year. And to be perfectly honest it feels 'right' for everything I've tried on it. They really are awesome little things!Edit: didn't vote for the above reasons. They really are awesome little things!Yea its the type of bike you cant put into a box, every week I will do something different on my bike, went out last week with BMX'ers on the street and didnt do any rear wheel hopping, more hops manuals and spins, as i do at the skate park. However last night with trials riders I was doing more sidehops and rear wheel gaps... it can do everything. I say its street trials. No, you couldn't ride singletrack or dirtjumps on a 20" Monty... not with any level of success anyway. However you can on an Inspired while also being able to backwheel and sidehop pretty much as high as the Monty. In theory the Inspired is less 'specialised' than a full on trials bike, however the geometry and feel of the bike means it still manages incredibly well with whatever type of riding you throw at it. Are you asking if te Inspired is intended for one or the other....? as if you are there is no answer. Over classification of an area or subject is a completly pointless endevour. Again if that is your question which i'm not sure it is.....first you have to answer what a street bike is, then what a trials bike....again you will find no answer so there is no result. Defining a bike or a genre is not a black and white issue so therfore it cannot be one or the other.......just ride your bike however you want in whichever style you want and do it for yourself - that is all that matters. The great thing about Danny Mac is that he just rides his bike how he wants and has fun doing it. He'd probably call himself a trials rider but at the end of the day IT DOESN'T MATTER! The Inspired, and 24" trials in general, seem to allow the rider to just have fun, regardless what you're doing and for some reason it stops you from thinking in such a restrictive way... it's weird!
