Making My Bike More Of A "street" Bike

Since my birthdays coming up and I'm still at an age my parents will buy me stuff, was wondering what I can do to make my bike more streety? As in the bunnyhop, manual, spins street.

I need new tyres anyway, and was thinking about Maxxis HolyRollers, but was wondering weather this is okay on the rear? I only ride street so don't really want to get a super tacky tyre that rus out of tread quickly. Or, if the HolyRoller isn't grippy on the rear, anyone got any reccomendations?

And bars and stems are annoying me. My bikes awful to get the front wheel up. At the moment my stem's around 110 by 10, I'm presuming I need a shorter one and maybe a higher one, or am better going for a more trialsy Trialtech one to get the front whel up?

And hopefully I'll try and get riser bars.

Thanks

I used to have the same frame and went about the same thing as you're thinking...... bought a short stem, got some good risers and went from there.

Managed to get ok at bunnyhopping it - managed to clear those plastic dustbins - not too bad on a koxx stock, however it never quite worked.......always a struggle.

To cut a long story short i sold it and bought an Inspired and i've never been happier - everything i wanted from a bike. Not much help for you, but it was the reality for me.

the holy rollers are wicked, very fast, very gripy tyres but don't really do low presures so pinch flats are iffy,

just use 2.35highrollers if you don't mind the nobbles!

my mate uses a level boss1065 and i nicked it four like 3months using ZOO bars and 120mm/17deg onza stem and it felt nice.

i'm bout6foot1 and the stem felt good but could of done with maybe 90mm same rise on the stem and some 2inch riser bars though...

hope this helps
