T-MAG RIDER 09
Hey,I was just wondering if you think a water or a magura oil is better thanksMatti
Muel
I'd go for an emulsion fluid, then it's light like water, but you don't get the problems of sticky pistons in the slaves and the lever piston jamming up.

Olly
I use water. Works a treat plus if you muck up, you won't be leaking oil over your bike

willis-gu
*go for glue!please search through the forum before posting one of these useless/pointless topics * = not reccomending it.HARSH!!I run water in my maguras and have had no problem with it. I have previously used oil and if you split your pipes or cross over there is oil everywhere, it isnt very nice and apparently peals the paint work off. If you split your pipes when running water, you dont get all the mess you do with oil. Also water reacts quicker on the pull of the leaver. But obviously water will do something to the pistons such as slow them down.willlis x
Nickkkkk
if you bleed it properly with oil (magura royal blood). The lever feels ever so slighty spongier than water, but you have to have mad skills. Edited April 22, 2009 by Nickkkkk
ginger allen echo
Magura oil bleed feels really spongey on the lever its poo i have used water since started trials it has a solid feel If i was you i would use water.tom xMaggie oil doesn't make you brake feel rubbish, i used plastic backings for abit with and oil bleed and it was fine. Iv'e now got CNC Coust on a water bleed and they are amazing! I'd recommend using a water bleed, and to use 3 in 1 oil to keep the pistons from sticking.Ginger Allen
pompytrials
water bleed is better i think it feels so much better on the leaver and you can do it where ever with out getting oil all over your bike
