Ali C
I have had best luck with the Trialtech Lite chain. It doesn't stretch as much as the KMC Kool chains and I am yet to snap one....ever!Don't worry about pitch too much, thats more for fat bmx chainrings, all freewheels and most (if not all) rear cogs fit both width chains. also, don't think that just because a chain is wider that its stronger, that's not always the case. Ross McArthur
The trial tech lite chain is goooood. No problems with it so far. BUT, the trial tech 'kool' version is nae good. I must have had a defective chain as as soon as I put it on my bike the plates started to move apart. The pins are meant to be mushroomed slightly so the plates dont slip off but they didnt seem to be and the chain snapped (burst) constantly! Muel
Koxx Lite, Trialtech Lite they're both just a KMC Z610 with a fancy box. I've had one for 6 months and it's been amazing, I replaced my brothers chain with a KMC Kool (the widest one) at the same time, his bike been ridden about a quarter what mine has and it stretches more and appears more worn than my Z610.Just amazing chains for the weight of them! sstein
There so week I broke one in a day!, also luke your not a hard rider so it will last you! lol.I am not exactly a light rider and I ride for about 30 hours a week, my last Taya Chrome Bmx chain lasted me 6 months and did not break, I only changed it 'casue I thought it might go. I normally break chains very easily but these things are amazing. Are you sure you were using the same chain and not the ultra sh*t one halfords do? sstein
I am trying to get more people using those chains as they are truly amazing. I have already got two local bmxers using them and a couple of trials riders.
Simpson
Yea, that split link you gave me saying, "it will never break, stronger than the chain" bust my knee right up today and nearly my face
forteh
Im currently using a kmc z610 (the trialtech lite) and no problems with it, previously had a sram pc1 for about 4 years and never snapped it, about 60g lighter than the z610 aswell Im not harsh on chains though, I dont stamp on the pedals which is what snaps em
